Boaters Safety Course

The State of Florida requires those driving a boat that were born on or after January 1, 1988 successfully complete an approved boaters safety course. Below are the ways to complete and be ready for your rental 
 

1. Provide NASBLA approved Boaters Safety Card from another state.

2. Take the TEMPORARY Boaters Safety Course at www.boat-ed.com/floridarental/ . License is valid for 90 days. It costs $6 for the materials and $3 for the test.

3. Take the free Florida Boaters Safety Course at www.boatus.org/florida . (4 hour course) **Recommended **
